Spice Cake?

Never had it before, although my brother says it tastes pretty good.

If I do not respond after Thanks Giving, then you can assume the food was poisoned. ;-)

Video: Merry Christmas (Star Wars Style)

To all my friends and family, I like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

Try not to drink too much Eggnog (as it may not be good for your health).

In order to celebrate the season, I decided to post a holiday parody involving Walking in a Winter Wonderland and Star Wars--mainly because its one of the few movies everyone in my family enjoys. Cheers!

I Need To Exercise

No, I have not gained any weight or lost my six pack, but I have not done any running/exercise in well over a month!

Although I hate running/exercising, it does relieve stress, which is easy to catch during this Christmas season, as I already have one gift on the way, one in the process of being completed (no details will be spilled here) and another I can only do 4 days before Christmas! (I'll explain later on)

Getting back exercising, I am trying to figure out a way to do it so that I am not bored out of my mind as running around for two miles is not that entertaining.

Perhaps its a good time to purchase a Nintendo Wii. For Me. :-)

But that's not going to happen with all the gifts I have to buy.

Running it is. :-(

Did You Enjoy Christmas?

In less than an hour, Christmas will be over, at least in my time zone.

Aside from connecting with family, friends and those of faith, I am really glad that everyone enjoyed their presents (which is not very easy, especially in these times).

My mom and I (along with input from my brother) purchased a black iPod for my father, which is great since:

  • He is not into the geek world like me. :-)
  • It can hold all of his music, which he loves.

For my brother I purchased a movie ticket for Eragon (it was not that great) as well as the book Elder, which is the sequel to the book Eragon (which my brother explains is a lot better than the big screen version).

As far as me goes, the only thing I got was a camel backpack, something I'll be needing next year as I go running/hiking through the green forests of my state.

With 2007 coming up, I am really exciting about the changes that are about to happen, although I can not legally highlight them here on this blog (sigh...we live in a world full of lawyers).

Anyways, Merry Christmas to everyone! And a happy New Year too!

Preparing Those Gifts...Plus A Video

Now that I am done buying presents (as long as I do not see another gift idea for a family member) I can now "prepare" the gifts for those receiving it.

Now I don't mean simply wrapping the gift with wrapping paper (or old newspapers which I think is cooler) but simply personalizing them for my parents and siblings.

Some of it involves writing inside the gift, while for the electronic ones it means adjusting the gift to fit their tastes.

Sorry if I am sounding vague here (and not telling what I bought) but I do not want to spoil the surprise as I can not tell who exactly reads this blog online, other than via an IP signal.

But in order to justify reading this post, here are a bunch of YouTuber's celebrating the holidays by singing The Twelve Days of Christmas. Enjoy!

Finished Christmas Shopping...

So I finished Christmas shopping today, although I still have to "prepare the gifts" for that day of celebration. (more info regarding that later)

Meanwhile I think I am going to be blogging light for a while as I have some non-geek related activities to take care of.

For those of you who celebrate it (and for those of you who don't) Merry Christmas! (and a happy new year!)
